Sourcing Specialist Components
Location: Landskrona or Stockholm office preferred
Option to work fully remotely
International travels, approximately 2-3 days per month in average.

ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions has a job opening for a Sourcing Specialist, with experience from procurement or sourcing of electronic components. In this role, reporting to the Category Manager Electronics, you will have a great opportunity to enhance your existing knowledge in the supply chain/sourcing area. We would like you to be a structured and analytic person, who enjoys managing your own projects and to be part of cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and act according to the defined sourcing strategy
- Actively monitor the market for intelligence and business trends and benchmark against best practices
- Leading the supplier selection process through facilitation of cross-functional teams, cost benchmarking or other methods
- Lead and manage negotiations with strategic suppliers to achieve cost savings and other improvements
- Negotiate, draft and redline various types of supplier agreements
- Collaborate within ASSA ABLOY Group to ensure sharing and implementation of best practices, execution of continues improvements, and implementation of global strategies
- Establish relationships with other functions (e.g. R&D, operations, product management, quality) to ensure understanding and support of strategic sourcing perspective to key processes.
- Participate in Group/Division/Vertical/Regional meetings and task forces to ensure that strategic sourcing’s input is integrated into decisions and initiatives.
- Lead planning and preparations for annual and long-term strategic sourcing plans, which identify how the strategic sourcing organization intends to achieve Division/Vertical targets.
- Drive relationship management with key suppliers. Evaluate existing and new suppliers’
The skills and experience you need
- Bachelor degree or above in electronics engineering or supply chain management strongly preferred
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within procurement/sourcing/supply chain management. Experience from the electronics industry is a plus.
- Fluent in English, written and oral
