We’re currently on the lookout for a Workshop Labourer to join our Dubai workshop team, supporting inspection and service of drilling equipment including iron roughnecks, top drives, mud pumps, and drawworks.
The role will suit a reliable candidate with experience working in a workshop environment. Please only apply if you have the required experience.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and other preparation of drilling equipment for inspection
- Support mechanical technicians with disassembly, inspection and rebuild of drilling equipment
- Organisation of workshop, yard and stores as directed
- Operate company forklifts and overhead cranes
- Drive company truck for collections and deliveries
- Load and unload vehicles
- Carry out equipment goods in and goods out checks
- Support workshop improvement initiatives
- Maintain a safe and clean workplace
- Ensure compliance with company quality assurances processes
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental policies
- Other related duties as defined by the management from time to time
Qualifications and Skills
Technical Requirements:
- Experience working in a workshop environment essential
Education and Training:
- Forklift training essential
- Overhead crane training advantageous
- Heavy goods driving licence advantageous
- Abrasive wheels training advantageous
