Accounts & Admin [South Africa]


 

Minimum criteria that is required for the position

Relevant Diploma

At least 3 years accounts experience

Pastel / Sage experience preferable

MS Office applications

Experience with General Ledger Functions

Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills

Ability to work under pressure

Ability to self-manage

Fluent in English (Written and spoken)

Key Performance Areas:

Capturing and Allocating payments and receipts

Follow up and ensure timeous client payments

Reconciliation of Creditor and Debtor Accounts

Resolve account related queries

Creditors and debtors account management

Daily monitoring of cash flow

Prepare Annual budgets

Analysis of budgets on a monthly basis

Ad-hoc admin and finance related tasks

Monthly recon of General Ledger Accounts

Prepare Monthly management accounts for sign off.

Processing of General Ledger Journals

Manage Balance Sheet and Profit/loss statements

Preparation and completion of VAT returns

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: R12,000.00 - R14,000.00 per month
