Responsibilities:
The following statements are intended to describe the major elements and requirements of the position and should not be taken as an all-inclusive list of responsibilities, duties and skills required, of an individual assigned to this job. The Admitting Lead is responsible for providing feedback on daily registration processes and staffing issues to the Patient Access Supervisor. Provide assistance to staff level employees as necessary to ensure compliance with department policies and procedures. Assist supervisor with staffing, report reconciliation, QA process, and other duties as assigned. Provide support by utilizing telephone, computer, office equipment, and by communicating with all departments.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required

2. Minimum Experience: 2-3 Years Admitting Experience

3. Preferred Skills and Abilities: Must have strong organizational and Interpersonal Skills. Proficient in all applications of Microsoft office. Highly motivational and multi-task oriented.

4. Knowledge of Insurance Verification/Authorization requirement preferred

5. Medical Terminology preferred

6. Ability to type 45wpm preferred

Centinela Hospital Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options. Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status, i.e. full-time or part-time. The current compensation range for this role is $25.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
