Odire Occupational Health (OOH) is a multidisciplinary organisation providing integrated healthcare services such as occupational hygiene, medical surveillance, onsite clinics, wellness, medical supplies and healthy & safety and training.
We are looking for an Occupational Hygienist to be a part of one of our projects! The OH will be responsible for maintaining workplace health and safety by identifying, evaluating, and controlling exposure to chemical, physical, ergonomic, and biological hazards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide Occupational Hygiene expertise and skills to the operation; advising on Occupational Hygiene solutions to enhance or ensure the effectiveness of the operation.
- Plan and implement hygiene systems to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Co-ordinate all occupational hygiene, health, and emergency preparedness programmes.
- Implementation, and management of effective OH strategies and systems based on risk assessment outcomes.
- Manage OH measurement and monitoring strategies and the reporting thereof.

Requirements and Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualification (or equivalent) in e.g. Health Sciences, Environmental Health, etc. majoring in Occupational Health & Safety.
- Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience.
