It all starts with the mission: NVISO is here to protect European society from potentially devastating cyber attacks! This means we offer cyber security services to private and governmental organizations to help them better prepare for, prevent, detect and respond to cyber security incidents.

Tasks
- Perform gap analysis between IT governance rules and requirements and as is implementation state
- Monitor/ coordinate convergence plan of identified implementation activities
- Analyze IT security risks, security standards, data security practices and procedures, network security, application security and database security
- ICT Risk identification and assessment
- Define and coordinate ICT security action/ remediation plans if required
- Performing risk assessments based on threat and risk
- Evaluation of modern security governance on customer side (including security policies, critical mechanisms and security management processes)
- Perform vendor risk analysis for customers
- Supporting the development of protection needs assessments
- Assist in the development of key risk indicators for information security
- Design and / or review security processes, policies, standards, concepts and roles
- Development of target operating models for security topics
- Management of smaller projects
- Assist in the implementation or customization of compliance procedures in ISM, contractual components or internal requirements
- Support IT/Security teams in the implementation of strategic security projects, similar to interim security officer role
- Reporting of progress and gaps to the management
- Supporting the development of new services and methodologies in the functional area
- Manage various tasks and contribute analytical and methodological expertise related to the Project Owner
- Preferred: Bachelor or a Master’s degree; your education is not required to be in IT or technology. However you should have some affinity with technology
- Several years of experience in the cyber strategy environment in risk management and internal projects
- Experience in BSI, ISO27001, NIST
- Experience in security risk management and security framework assessment
- Governance certifications in COBIT and/or ITIL are an advantage
- Certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, ISO Auditor are an advantage
- Strong communication and presentation skills to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work as part of a team and in a dynamic and challenging environment.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Working and learning from the best people in the European cyber security industry. We have multiple SANS Instructors working at NVISO, our staff has presented at popular hacking conferences (BlackHat, BruCON, OWASP, etc) and all of our technical staff can acquire deep technical security certifications (GSE, GXPN, GREM, GCFA, OSCP, etc)
