Summary of role: You’ll be providing hands-on systems engineering in support of design and development, analysis, and implementation for challenging and innovative new commercial space capabilities.
We are seeking new talent with the following experience for our Commercial Sector:
- System Architecture and Design Engineering
- System Domain/ Subsystem Expertise: Electrical, RF, Optical, ACS/ GNC, Mechanical, Orbits, Flight Software, Thermal, Structural
- System AIT
- Mission System Engineering
- Launch Vehicle System Engineering
- Product Assurance
- Program Management, including IMS, budgeting, technical leadership, team development (technical hiring, mentoring)
Required Qualifications
- BS in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Optical, Systems Engineering, Aerospace), with specific work experience in Space Systems
- Extensive knowledge of system engineering methods and best practices for space systems
- Excellent written and verbal communications with a demonstrated capability to work collaboratively with customers at all levels, partners, and colleagues.
- Must be a self-motivated individual who can work independently and in a team
- Commercial space program experience strongly preferred
- US Citizen or Green Card holder
