- Advise and consult with necessary parties in formulating, reviewing and revising Sustainability and Green Economy Strategies, Policies, and associated procedures.
- Ensure systematic capturing, documenting and analysis of results to develop analytics and reports to identify improvement areas in Sustainability Climate Change & Green Economy.
- Ensure result-based management and work planning to improve strategic plans and processes related to Sustainability and Climate Change.
- Develop and implement sustainable management system framework and measures to manage Sustainability in RTA.
- Set objectives and targets in line with RTA Sustainability and Green Economy Policies and Strategies and introduce indicators to measure performance and efficiency.
- Ensure strategic coordination, resourcing, and action in the areas of Green Economy across local / federal
- government entities.
- Develop, implement, and continually improve the RTA Sustainability and Green Economy Systems and Processes in line with the RTA Strategic Goals and directions.
- Identify key potential risks to Sustainability, Climate Change, and Green Economy elements related to RTA Operations and RTA and recommend controls to reduce risk.
- Provide Support the planning and scheduling for the internal /external audit systems, and support for standardized evaluation of Sustainability and Green Economy programs and projects and encourage transparency and accountability.
- . Ensure compliance and integration to Sustainability and Green Economy requirements and framework through third party assessments and audits, and other management systems in RTA.
- . Identify and manage Sustainability and Green Economy performance requirements imposed by all stakeholders of RTA.
- Identify opportunities for collaboration with other Entities, to identify Sustainability ideas to promote Sustainability in RTA
- Establish a process for evaluating and updating legal and other requirements of Green Economy and conduct compliance evaluation.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with the position as appropriate.
المؤهلات و المهارات
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS EDUCATION / Work EXPERIENCE Master's degree in (Sustainability, Built Environment, Urban Planning) or any similar major from an accredited educational institution with (9) years of experience as a minimum in the field of specialization. Bachelor's degree in (Architectural, Civil, sustainability, renewable energy Engineering) or any similar major from an accredited educational institution with (11) years of experience as a minimum in the field of specialization.
